How many colors are in your fingertips?
The Chromovores know them all, and they’re hungry! Feed them by tapping near them with your fingertips. If you want to increase the number, feed them until they are cloning.
By choosing the times, number and length of each split, you can create an ever-changing series of numbers and contrasting colors. Thanks to the algorithm that decides the color of each clone, you’ll always see new colors and combinations, with little likelihood of clashing.
The iPad’s larger display allows smoother interaction and visuals, while internal parameters are calibrated automatically to guarantee optimal results even on iPhones and the iPod touch. Changes to other parameters, such as number of shapes, dominant colors, etc., are handled during the normal interaction with the game, eliminating the need for tiresome settings panels.
Chromovores was born from a simple experimental prototype with the intention of producing a more complex title, but it has already proven itself an entertaining game. Its autonomous evolution of states, and its highly intuitive interaction model, even lets you use it as a relaxing chromatic aquarium.
